Midsummer Yoga Retreat


Join us for this 3days/2nights retreat on beautiful Ærø during the longest days and shortest nights of the year. We will celebrate the summer solstice and follow the tradition of the North to celebrate light & fire on this day.

We will nourish our bodies, quieten our minds and connect with nature during these days on our little island. Our focus is on softening the heart and make room for the light to shine through.

We will start the day with a 90min pranayama – yoga – meditation practice before we indulge in a nourishing brunch prepared with care and love. In the afternoon, you will have some time on your own to explore the island, journal or simply relax. We will meet again for a heart-opening meditation in nature (if weather permits). We end the days with relaxing soft yoga practices and joint delicious dinners followed by an optional evening programme. You are, of course, always welcome to opt out of activities if you prefer some time on your own: no questions, no need for explanation.

Look forward to lovingly and mindfully prepared vegetarian/vegan food which is nourishing, healthy, and crafted to support your yoga practice and warm your heart.

Friday 20 June

From 15h: Arrival at Atma Yoga House

17-18.30h: Welcome & soft yoga flow (‘easing into our bodies’)

19h: Dinner

After dinner: Walk to the beach, sauna and hot tub at the sea

 

Saturday 21 June

From 7h: Tea & Fruit

8-9.30h: Pranayama & activating yoga flow (‘activating our inner fire’)

10-11h: Brunch

11-13.30h: Free time, time for journaling, napping

13.30-15h: Walk & guided heart meditation in nature (followed by tea & snacks)*

15-17h: Free time

17-18.30h: Heart-opening Yin yoga

19h: Dinner

After dinner: Mantra Circle & Bonfire

 

Sunday 22 June

From 7h: Tea & Fruit

8-9.30h: Pranayama & holistic yoga flow (‘integrating’)

10-12h: Brunch & free time

12-13:30h: Soft yoga flow, meditation & farewell circle

14h: Checkout & Goodbye
